"Battle of the Bosses"

March 27th 2007

Events

Executive Boxer's last event the "Battle of the Bosses" was a massive success. All tickets were sold out within one week, and the crowd were not disappointed. All 7 fights were very close, and each of the boxers put on a great performance. There may even be a few re-matches further down the line. All of the boxers should be commended on there sportsmanship before and after the fights. A special thanks is also in order for all of the people who attended the event as they helped create an amazing atmosphere.

Highlight Match

The Grudge Match

Foxy vs Green

The fight of the night had to be Shaun "of the dead" Green Vs Lee "Foxy" Fox. These two warriors had the crowd on their feet from the first to the last bell. The first round swung in Foxy's favour with his slick boxing skills, but Shaun Green made an impressive comeback to nick round 2. The 3rd round was action packed with both boxers totally exhausted and fighting on pure heart and determination, and it was Shaun Greens fitness that just about gave him the nod over Lee Fox. There was a bit of controversy in the Celebrity Headliner featuring Paul "Killa" Kershaw Vs Danny "Boy" Kelly. BBC WM presenter Kelly was given the decision in a close contest but some sections of the crowd thought Kershaw had done enough to win.

The Venue

South Birmingham College

Executive Boxer would like to thank South Birmingham College in Digbeth for being superb hosts. The venue was ideal and the whole evening went very smoothly.
